Here are some answers to questions that are frequently asked:

Question: I want to take your work and upload it to some reader or external source! Answer: No. You are not allowed to do that without our permission. We do not allow our releases to be uploaded to any external reader or site without our permission. And there is no external reader that has our permission. Want me to make this even clearer? DO NOT UPLOAD OUR RELEASES TO YOUR READER ONEMANGA, MANGAFOX OR ANY OTHER READERS. IN FACT, THEY SHOULD BE TAKEN DOWN IF THEY ARE. Good? Good.

Question: When is the next chapter of [insert name of series] coming out? Answer: It'll be out when it's ready. Who knows, might be in one day, one week or most probably, in one month. Asking repeatedly is not going to make us release it any faster. We're currently short on staff, so releases have slowed down because of that.

Question: What's the status of [insert name of series]? You haven't released anything from that series in while. Answer: Guys (or gals), that's basically the same thing as the previous question... If you are so eager to know what the status of each series is, go to our forums and look at the "Project Status" threads that are stickied in each of our projects' subforums.

Question: Since when has dynasty-scans been around? I'd like to know more about the group's history. Answer: Dynasty was founded in 2005, in order to pick up Pastel, after it was licensed by Del Rey and Animewaves had dropped the series. The three founding members were Wyvern_D (editor), Co_ol (translator) and ChronoXVIII (editor, proofreader). The group started with only one project but quickly expanded the number of series scanlated, favoring shoujo-ai and mangas that had kickass artwork. quincy became the leader up until July 2006, when he decided to move on to other things. At that point, Casusby jumped in and since then, has ruled over dynasty-scans as its supreme leader.

Question: Who is this "Casusby" that is often making the announcements? Answer: He's dynasty-scans' almightly, great and benevolent leader. All hail Casusby-sama!

Question: I love your scanlations and would like to somehow help out. What can I do? Answer: If you'd like to help us out, consider joining us. Click on the "Join Us" button in the menu bar on the left side of the site and find out which positions we are currently recruiting for.

Question: I don't know any Japanese, my English is horrible and I don't know how to use Photoshop. However, I still want to help you guys! What can I do?! Answer: Oh boy, so you basically have none of the skills required to become a staff member? Don't worry, you can still be involved in our group. Come and idle (or even talk!) on our IRC channel or make an account on our forums and start making quality posts.
